My name is Linda Paquette and I love to write. I have worked for others online for about a year now and decided it was time for me to create my own place on the web. I have always possessed a passion for writing but until recently have not found the time to follow through.

Now I am not only a published book Author but write daily online about many diverse things from heartfelt poetry to politics.

My poetry comes from life lessons and I believe that  if you read from the heart you will relate. Everyone has a story to tell and through my collection of poems I feel I have opened my heart to let all that want to to know me in.

I am a firm believer that life comes from many experiences happy or sad and we are to learn from these experiences to grow. That's why with the release of my book I have decided to donate 25 % of all book sales to the homeless in my area. I truly do want to make a difference in these peoples lives. The sadness that fills their eyes when I pass them by breaks my heart.

I am also asking you to help these poor souls.  Here you may make a donation for any amount you want and the proceeds will go to people in need. I am doing this right before the holiday season because I know that there are many out there who have nothing compared to the rest of us. Kids with no gifts under the tree and a lot I am sure with out a home never mind a tree.

I live in the North East and the weather has turned cold. When I go to work at 6 AM each morning and see people sleeping on the sidewalks at 30 degrees it really hits home.

I could go on and on but believe that everyone cares about these people but are not sure how or do not have much themselves. I am not asking for a set amount because like you I also do not have a great deal of money, but  with your help and donations I do believe we can one by one make a difference. 

Any donations made between now and January 31st will be donated to those in Haiti.
